
Mark Blount has almost 25 years of sales and marketing management experience with Fortune 100 corporations as well as start-up/medium-sized companies in the technology and software sectors. He began his career with AT&T in 1983 and later held marketing/sales leadership positions at BellSouth, ExecuTrain, Alogent, Home Wireless Networks, and Emergency Visions.
Mark has directed global product and services marketing, sales support, and business development efforts at these technology companies. He has significant brand marketing experience, and has developed comprehensive programs for marketing metrics, market segmentation, vertical markets, and managing product lifecycles. He has managed and supported sales/marketing channels in dozens of countries, directed a national group of telemarketing centers, and developed partnerships with key channel partners and OEM manufacturers worldwide.
Mark received an undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia; and earned an MBA in Marketing from Mercer University with national academic honors. He served as Vice President of The Technology Marketing Association of Georgia 1999-2005; and is a founder and active volunteer with The Herring Foundation of Hope, a non-profit organization which assists hundreds of cancer patients annually across the USA.
