
Rick Chitty founded IQ Software in 1984, and served as Chairman, President and CEO until its acquisition in 1998. Under his leadership IQ Software grew to 250 employees and he took the company public in 1992.
IQ distinguished itself with a financial performance of 55 consecutive quarters of profitability. IQ Software received numerous industry awards and recognition under Rick's leadership, including:
Rick was also the recipient of the 1993 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
In 1998, Rick co-founded a healthcare-focused eRecruiting company, MiracleWorkers.com. He served as Chairman until the company was acquired in 2000 by Headhunter.Net, now owned by CareerBuilder.com.
Rick is a non-practicing CPA and has served on the board of several private companies and the Southeastern Software Association.
He was born and raised in Jacksonville,Fla. and graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Fla where he majored in Accounting and played baseball.
