Steve Elrod has a long and distinguished career as an entrepreneur and leader in the Home Medical Equipment Industry. Prior to founding Brightree, Steve was President of Oxy+Plus, a full service home health care company providing respiratory care services, home medical equipment, diabetes testing supplies and disease management programs. In April 2001, Oxy+Plus became part of Apria Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of home healthcare services.
Previously, Steve was also President of Transcriptions Solutions, Inc., Manager of Elrod Development, LLC and on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Wings of Hope. Steve is active in professional and community service organizations including the Health Industry Distributor Association, Georgia Association of Medical Equipment Services, Chamber of Commerce for Gwinnett, Hall, Dawson, Lumpkin, Clarke and Habersham counties in Georgia, and is a member of the Gwinnet Chamber of Commerce 2000 Executive Roundtable.
Steve holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Georgia.
