Troy Venis
Chief Technology Officer 
Troy Venis has over 15 years of management and software development experience in the financial, telecommunications and healthcare markets.
Prior to joining Brightree, Troy was Vice President of Product Development at CheckFree Corporation where he was responsible for the company's industry-leading web-based bill payment applications. He has significant experience in building feature-rich Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based applications that are highly scalable and flexible. In his time at CheckFree, Troy was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of products, which included all aspects of project management, user experience, design, development, quality assurance, and customer deployment.
Prior to CheckFree, Troy worked for one of the Big 5 consulting firms and focused on custom software development projects in groupware and business intelligence.
Troy also worked for ExecuTrain and IBM Credit Corporation. He holds an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
