Whether you are moving from an outdated computer system or starting a new business, Brightree can have you up and billing in as little as 30 days from your orientation. If you are moving from an old system, Brightree has developed proprietary tools that enable our HME/DME and O&P experts to accurately convert your existing data into Brightree. Brightree's seasoned team manages the deployment and training of your staff from start to finish, ensuring a smooth transition and a great start to our business partnership.
Brightree is delivered via a web browser from our central application servers. Therefore, the technical aspects of implementation --such as software installation and configuration, database set-up, and population of price tables -- are squarely on our shoulders to handle for you. Brightree minimizes your investment in computing and network equipment. All you need to get started is a computer and an Internet connection, so your road to a 21st Century solution is smooth and easy.

Orientation
Before beginning the implementation process, Brightree's Senior Customer Service Director will hold an orientation kickoff with your team. This important and valuable session establishes the timeline and critical success factors for the deployment and familiarizes everyone with the responsibilities and dedication required to achieve a successful implementation.
Project Management
Brightree stays with you all the way until you "go live", and beyond. Together, we work with your team to establish a "go live" date based upon your allocation of resources, timeline, and other requirements. You are assigned a Brightree Project Manager who will direct your implementation and conduct staged project reviews to ensure your deployment stays on track and on time. Meanwhile, the Project Manager, in concert with the Trainer and Conversion Specialist, coordinates setting up all aspects of your system, including your electronic submissions -- and this is all done for you behind the scenes, based on your specific implementation, so you don't have to.
Initial Setup
As part of getting you up and running quickly, Brightree sets up your own secure SQL database, separate from all other client databases. All Medicare and retail price tables are populated, and HCPCS and ICD9 codes are set up. Brightree also sets up sample user groups and configures all user permissions; as well as establishing categories for inventory, insurance, doctors, etc. We also configure, test, and provide for the regular back-up of your data.
Data Conversion
If you are moving from a outdated computer system, Brightree offers comprehensive services to accurately convert your existing data to Brightree. We have successfully performed hundreds of conversions, and in doing so we have built a host of proprietary, HIPAA compliant conversion tools, which along with our expert staff streamline the extraction of data from old systems. This translates into an affordable, straightforward conversion experience to get you up and running quickly.
Initial training, personalized and performed by an HME/DME expert
Brightree's modularized training is delivered to your users based on a proven process which greatly enhances scheduling, applicability to the job, and retention; while reducing expenses and extended time away from the job. Our training methodology focuses on byte-sized training modules which are delivered systematically as your users progress through the implementation timeline. Because the training is presented online by one of Brightree's HME/DME/O&P experts, there's no need to pay travel expenses, and your users can keep your business running while migrating steadily to the new system as the training progresses.
The data used in the training sessions will be your own data. That's important because it is easier to learn using your own information. Practicing facilitates learning, and using your own data makes homework more fun and worthwhile. And when you begin to work on your own, you will have real life examples using your own information as a reference. These training sessions are spread out over the course of the implementation schedule to allow your team to better absorb the material, use the system, and perform pre- and post-class exercises. Depending on the modules implemented, your staff will receive up to 20 hours of private, personalized training led by a Brightree expert.
