If you are moving from a legacy system, Brightree offers comprehensive services to accurately convert your existing data to Brightree. We have successfully performed over a thousand conversions, and in doing so we have built a host of proprietary conversion tools to streamline the extraction of data from the most common legacy systems. This translates into an affordable, straightforward conversion experience to get you up and running quickly.

Yes. With a unique login and password, you and your employees can access the system and your data from anywhere in the world.

Yes, your company will have its own database that is separate from all other client databases. Only you and your employees with an authorized password will have access to your data.

Brightree requires that all users have a valid user name and password to access the Brightree Network. Also we utilize the industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to secure data as it travels back and forth to the Brightree Network. All leading financial and online trading companies use a similar encryption methodology to secure data. We also employ SSL acceleration hardware to allow a fast, secure connection. Brightree employs an advanced, multi-level security system to protect your data with managed firewalls that allow us to stop unwanted users from even entering the site.

Training, Support, Upgrades

Brightree's modularized training is delivered to your users based on a proven process which greatly enhances scheduling, applicability to the job, and retention; while reducing expenses and extended time away from the job. Our training methodology focuses on "byte-sized" training modules which are delivered systematically as your users progress through the implementation timeline.

Because the training is presented online by one of Brightree's industry experts, there's no need to pay travel expenses, and your users can keep your business running while migrating steadily to your new system as the training progresses.

Brightree understands that your business is fluid and dynamic.  We are committed to your success for the long haul. That's why we provide free, ongoing live training each month as well as the industry's best support tools to keep your existing and new users sharp on utilizing Brightree's functionality to the fullest. Brightree offers a host of just-in-time learning tools which are free -- including 18+ hours of short online training videos, as well as one-click context-sensitive help from within the product.

Brightree normally releases two major product upgrades each year. All upgrades will occur instantly for you after thorough testing, quality assurance, and BETA testing. When you log on to the site, the upgrades will be there. You don't need to do anything but enjoy the benefits. Brightree manages the performance of the entire application, including enhancements and additional functionality.

Virtually any ink jet or laser printer will work with the Brightree system. Brightree can print everything on plain computer paper, or directly on forms.  Please check with your payer(s) to ensure they accept plain-paper forms.  Increasingly, more and more do, which saves you money.

Brightree requires two simple components to utilize bar coding:  (1) A printer that will produce the bar code labels; and (2) a scanner that will electronically read the labels and transfer the data to the Brightree application.  Both pieces of hardware are affordable and available from many retailers and online stores.

Brightree is written on the Microsoft .NET platform and Microsoft SQL Server database manager for fast, reliable access to your information. The Microsoft .NET platform is unique in that it enables developers to create programs that transcend device boundaries and help you fully harness the connectivity of the Internet.

Your data is secured in a $150M data center with fully-redundant high-density power and cooling capacities engineered to the highest specifications available that meets HIPAA requirements for data.  In addition, the data center features state-of-the-art security and fire protection systems including digital video surveillance cameras, electronic access cards, biometric retina and fingerprint authentication scanners, and early-warning smoke-detection and pre-action fire suppression systems.

Brightree stays on top of compliance standards so that you don't have to. Brightree was built from the ground up with these standards in mind. Brightree provides secure logins, passwords, and SSL so that all data remains private. Brightree can log all user activity, audit patient record activity as well as any other system record activity. Brightree generates Patient IDs, provides a HIPAA Privacy Statement checkbox, and features lock-down (non-editable) Patient Notes and automatic user logout.
