Brightree's electronic fax is a paperless fax that’s fully integrated within the Brightree solution to streamline your workflow and increase the productivity of your staff.
Electronic fax is an automated digital fax service which sends and receives CMNs and other documents electronically between you and your referral sources. With the click of a button, faxes are sent from your desktop to the fax machine of referral sources or other recipients. The date and time of the fax transmission is recorded within Brightree, and standard reports identify which faxes are not delivered. Signed CMNs are received digitally within Brightree so that you can quickly verify the accuracy of the CMN and complete the billing process.

Brightree's electronic fax is available for inbound/outbound faxing with local or toll-free fax numbers.
Outbound Faxes -- This service automatically routes CMNs and Patient Notes to an Internet-hosted fax server, which automates the "send process." Brightree communicates with the fax server to determine the success or failure of the fax and then updates the status in the Brightree system.
Inbound Faxes -- Inbound faxes are assessable at the click of your mouse as all inbound documents are located in a folder within Brightree's Home Menu. You do not disturb the manual faxing process that doctors are used to. Doctors send faxes via a regular fax machine to the Brightree service, which converts them into PDF files.
When you combine Brightree's electronic fax with Brightree Document Management, you can save the additional steps of printing and scanning documents and link CMNs and other documents directly to the patient's record.
