With Brightree Retail Sales, there is no need to purchase a cash register or other expensive equipment. Simply set up any of your computers in the retail section of your store and you are ready to quickly and easily record your retail transactions.

Brightree allows you to scan the item (if you are using a bar code system) or enter an item number, and collect the payment. Then , the software calculates the appropriate sales tax and prints a receipt. Taking care of retail customers couldn't be quicker or easier.

And because the retail sales module is integrated with the rest of the Brightree system, inventory quantities are automatically updated during each sale. This information is also tracked by a specific patient or attributed to a generic "cash patient". Brightree provides a daily "cash drawer" reconciling report to summarize retail sales by cash, check, and credit card charges as well as other types of sales reports.
