Brightree Partners with RelayHealth to Streamline Pharmacy Transactions and Improve Access to Assistance Programs
With new RelayHealth Connection, Brightree becomes a central hub for pharmacy and home infusion management and billing needs
ATLANTA, April 6th, 2021 – Brightree® today announced an expanded relationship with RelayHealth Pharmacy Solutions, one of the nation’s most reliable pharmacy networks connecting biopharma companies, pharmacies, physicians, and payers.
Existing and prospective Brightree pharmacy and home infusion customers can now easily access and enroll in a variety of RelayHealth offerings directly from Brightree’s RelayHealth Connection in the Brightree Pharmacy platform, including:
Pre- and Post-Edits, through which users can gain real-time insightful feedback about submitted claims, such as alerts about invalid credentials or pricing that is outside of normal ranges Patient Assistance Rx, which includes two manufacturer-sponsored programs that automatically apply co-pay savings to patient prescriptions and automatically convert denied claims for certain products and reasons to a paid claim response. In both cases, the manufacturer assistance is forwarded directly to the Brightree Business Management Software for Pharmacy client.
This new formal collaboration removes a barrier to adoption of these and other critical RelayHealth services, while reducing the number of vendors providers have to contract with and manage. This announcement builds on an existing integration between the two Atlanta-based companies, through which joint users are able to access RelayHealth Intelligent Network to process eligibility requests and claims in the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs format directly from Brightree Business Management Software for Pharmacy.
